Learning in a social context (LSC) survey
The objective of the survey is to identify the
PRME-signatory business schools that organise LSC activities and analyse
their characteristics, what competencies do they foster, their methodologies
and evaluation techniques.
Please complete the form with key information about education proposals at
any course level that share four characteristics (please use a form
for each activity):
• Take place outside the classroom;
• Have a strong experiential component;
• Require integrating various subjects and skills;
• Are carried out in a social rather than business-oriented context.
The survey domain is for business students only but it may include programs
where business students are mixed with other students. Graduate level and
undergraduate level students are both of interest.
The LSC activity should be part of the curriculum.
Please do not refer to business related activities as LSC programs are
carried out in a social-oriented context.
Please remember to complete one survey for each program.
Depending on the approaches used in each business school, LSC may be known
as: service learning; social internships; community engagement; university
development service; social mentoring; support for social entrepreneurs and
social incubators, etc.
Please do not pay attention to the question "Specify
your own value"
